Jen Jones (PhD, MPH) is a Northern-placed and community-driven researcher and consultant with a grounding in public health, northern governance, community well-being, and Northern-placed based research methodologies. Having had over 25 years of work and research experience in Yukon, she brings expertise in applying the social determinants of community well-being within the context of Indigenous/settler relationships and modern-day governance.

She is interested in working with First Nations governments, non-governmental organizations, and research groups to tackle Northern-specific issues. Integral to her work is to engage with communities to ensure their values align with the project outcomes and reflect in programs, policies, and services.

Jen holds a Master’s in Public Health (University of Alaska Anchorage) and a PhD (University of Guelph).
